Kiwanis Interpretive Nature Trail

The Kiwanis Interpretive Nature Trail is now open to the public year 'round during daylight hours. The trail is located on the Kiwanis Wyoming County Fairgrounds, west of Meshoppen on route 6. Enter the driveway, straight approx. 1/10 of a mile, and turn right into the first parking lot. Watch for the signs. You'll find the trailhead in the west corner of the parking lot, near the wetlands.

The trail is a walking path between the field and wetlands, then into the forest. It's approximately one mile long, marked with light blue paint on the trees and numbered posts. The numbers along the trail refer to the interpretive guide. Pick one up at the trailhead or print one from the web site.

This trail resulted from a partnership between Endless Mountains Nature Center and Kiwanis Club of Tunkhannock.
