Nicole Barber Nicole Barber
Director
Ms. Barber is the Community Relations Director at The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and Coordinator at Leadership Lackawanna. She holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Communications. In December 2008 Ms. Barber was included in the Top 40 Under 40 in northeastern Pennsylvania. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing, dancing, and yoga.

Scott Myer Joe DeMarco
Director
Mr. DeMarco retired from Procter & Gamble, after 31 years of service, the last twenty-two of which were as site Public Relations Manager at the paper products plant in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania. He was a commissioner on Governor Tom Ridge's 21st Century Environment Commission and has served on a number of non-profit boards, including Tyler Memorial Hospital, Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce (former chair), Junior Achievement of Northeastern Pennsylvania (former chair), the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, and Audubon Pennsylvania (former chair). His passion is birding and sharing his love of birds with his grandchildren and anyone interested in learning more. Mr. DeMarco is a Thomas P. Shelburne Environmental Leadership Award winner.

Laureen Maloney, Director of the Endless Mountains Nature Center Laureen Maloney
Director
Currently, Ms. Maloney is the Director of the Scranton Children's Library. She was the first to hire the Endless Mountains Nature Center to present programs for the community.

Scott Myer Scott Myer
President of the Board
Scott Myer is a founding board member of the EMNC and is currently serving as the board president. He enjoys leading the volunteer workdays and is involved with maintaining the hiking trails.

Mr. Myer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from Cornell University in 2001. He then moved to northern California, where he worked as a naturalist at Pacific Environmental Education Center and Whiskeytown Environmental School. In 2005 he moved to Tunkhannock and worked at Pocono Environmental Education Center as he pursued and obtained a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Scranton. For the past four years he has taught earth science, along with other science and math classes, at Wyalusing Valley high school.

Vice-president
Dr. Stone practices family medicine. She is an avid bird watcher and film buff.

Acting Treasurer
Denise is self-employed and lives in Meshoppen with her two sons and husband Rob.

Sarah White Sarah White
Secretary
An NEPA native, Sarah White joined the EMNC Board in 2007 as volunteer coordinator and was named Board Secretary in 2009. She holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a concentration in Environmental Science from Shippensburg University as well as a graduate certificate in English as a Second Language from Misericordia University and a Master's in Reading from King's College. Presently, Sarah is the K-12 English as a Second Language Program Specialist for the Tunkhannock Area School District, and is pursuing an additional Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from King's College.

Ms. White enjoys traveling, having spent time in Vietnam, England, and Costa Rica. She did part of her student teaching experience in St. Helens, Merseyside, Great Britain. She counts Alaska as the most exciting place on Earth she's been to thus far and a European destination to be determined as her next trip. She also quite enjoys the sustainability movement, farming, hiking, baking, crafting, fighting for social justice, and Audrey Hepburn and Paul Newman movies.

Amber Zygmunt Amber Zygmunt
Director
Ms. Zygmunt has many years of experience in business and accounting. She's has been an avid gardener with a focus on wildlife habitat and native plants. Currently Ms. Zygmunt is the President of the Endless Mountains Gardeners. She's a former board member, banquet coordinator, and program coordinator of the Greater Wyoming Audubon Society.
